Henriette Rahusen (formerly Henriette de Bruyn Kops) is Researcher in the department of Northern Baroque Paintings at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., and an adjunct professor of early modern world history at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Rahusen earned her PhD at Georgetown University in 2005, and her book, A Spirited Exchange on the wine and brandy trade between France and the Dutch Republic during the seventeenth century, was published in 2007.
