Marjorie E. Wieseman

Marjorie (Betsy) Wieseman was appointed Paul J. and Edith Ingalls Vignos Jr. Curator of European Paintings and Sculpture, 1500-1800 at the Cleveland Museum of Art in the winter of 2016. Previously, Dr. Wieseman was Curator of Dutch and Flemish Painting at The National Gallery, London, a position she held since 2006.  She has curated and coordinated a number of exhibitions on Dutch and Flemish art of the seventeenth century, including Vermeer’s Women: Secrets and Silence (2011).
