Ariane van Suchtelen is a curator of seventeenth-century Dutch paintings at the Royal Picture Gallery Mauritshuis in The Hague. She studied art history at the University of Groningen, where she specialized in seventeenth-century Dutch art. At the Mauritshuis, Ariane van Suchtelen has curated such exhibitions as The Dutch Self-Portrait (2015) and Jan van Scorel – A Heavenly Discovery (2016).
