Dr. David de Witt is the Chief Curator at the Rembrandthuis in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Dr. De Witt earned his PhD at the University of Guelph, in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He later served as the Bader Curator of European Art at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre in Kingston, Canada. He has published on many topics on seventeenth-century Dutch painting, including painter Jan van Noordt.
