Jennifer Henel is an independent consultant in the digital humanities, working with the National Gallery of Art and the Journal of Historians of Netherlandish Art (JHNA), among others.  Jennifer has held the positions of Curatorial Coordinator for Digital Content and Curatorial Associate in Northern Baroque Paintings at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.  She holds an MA in Art History, with a specialty in 19th century French paintings from The George Washington University. She served as the project manager for the National Gallery’s presentation of the Online Scholarly Catalogue Initiative, Dutch Paintings of the Seventeenth Century
