The Dutchman on the Neva banks
An exhibition has opened at the Hermitage, “The Age of Rembrandt and Vermeer: Masterpieces of The Leiden Collection,” centering on 17th century Dutch Golden Age art and featuring a drawing byLeonardo da Vinci. The capital of the North is one of the stops on this show’s world tour, which beganlast year at The Louvre in Paris and later traveled to Beijing, Shanghai and Moscow (Izvestia reportedon the exhibition at the Pushkin Museum).
