John Twilley, Dominique Surh, and Ilona van Tuinen discuss the technical studies done on a group of thirteen Gerrit Dou paintings from The Leiden Collection in 2009. The examination included x-radiography, infrared reflectography, dendrochronology, and select pigment samples.
