Quentin Buvelot is the Senior Curator at the Royal Picture Gallery Mauritshuis in The Hague. He is an expert on seventeenth-century Dutch paintings, and has published widely on many topics pertaining to art of the Golden Age, with titles including Rembrandt by himself (1999) and Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from the Mauritshuis (2013).
